PRSC Runs with volunteers and people on various Work Experience/ Job Start schemes.
The aspiration is to create an organisation that retains its independence by creating its own income,
thus retaining its creative and political indepence.
We are currently developing several projects, most of which are in their infancy. Many are outlined below .

Funding is afforded a cautious welcome, according to the number of strings and amount of paperwork attached.
It is recognised however, that the core of PRSC must survive on its own terms.
To run without increasingly scarce state funding will make us stronger and more sustainable in the long run.
This is not to say that the works of PRSC, particularly those that make significant contribution to the Community,
should not receive a just proportion of Government Finances.

FOOD HUB: There is an increasing will to create a local healthy alternative to food offered by supermarkets.
PRSC is working with others to realise this ambition. Contact

PLANNING: PRSC has a Planning Group which seeks to have significant input into the evolution of our built environment.

STOKES CROFT ART FURNITURE. Converting furniture destined for landfill into objects of desire.
We have volunteers who work in this field. Good quality repairable furniture always required.

STOKES CROFT CHINA. Manufacture and sale of the most interesting Fine Bone China.
Evolving a work force to develop the business.

STOKES CROFT MURALS: Currently building a list of painters willing to work for this new venture.

STOKES CROFT MUSEUM: This local institution is a significant cultural resource for Stokes Croft,
and requires volunteers to keep it open.
The Museum receives no funding, and needs to generate income to survive.

STOKES CROFT OUTDOOR GALLERY
Looking after our own area... This involves street sweeping, litter picking, painting, liaising with local traders and organisations.
Volunteers required for considered work, and for preparation work.

STOKES CROFT STREET FEST. This event takes place annually in late Spring/Early Summer.
Volunteers are always required for stewarding, to play and to perform. Contact
