SUMMARY:Children's Half Term: Arts and Crafts Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Register now\nBristol Solidarity Cafe x PRSC: free arts and crafts workshop for kids aged 8-13\nBristol Solidarity Cafe are hosting their first free children’s session this upcoming half-term on Saturday 15th February from 1 to 3pm\, in collaboration with Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft at PRSC. \nAs the 21st February marks International Mother Language Day AND the publication of the Communist Manifesto\, we wanted to invite children to create some art around the themes of mother language and community. There will be tote bag painting\, poster making\, collaborative art\, co-creation and more! \nWe will also be providing gluten free\, nut free\, vegan food and refreshments. \nAlso please note\, we will have a couple of volunteers who have an enhanced DBS check and others who have previously worked with children. \nRegister here: https://forms.gle/htfEXZdmgY8X1dQt6 \n\n\nIn 2024 our weekly People's Art Club sessions were funded by The National Lottery's Community Fund. For six months of 2025 these sessions were funded by the Quartet Community Foundation. Additional People's Art Club activities were supported by Bristol City Council's Originators Fund.\nPlease consider donating to help us keep the People's Art Club open!
