POSTPONED: People’s Art Fair: Activism

1The April People’s Art Fair is themed to align with the School of Activism 2.0,

There will be an art exhibition opening from 6-9pm on Friday April 10th, featuring live music performances, open mic and jam session,

A makers market will run on Saturday 12-6pm, with workshops and paint jams running throughout the afternoon.

Exhibition opening party, live music & open mic // 6 – 9pm // Fri 8th May featuring:

  • Photographs of squats and alternative communities around Europe by Lisa Furness
  • Illustration and tatoo art by WALLA (image above)
  • Photography of protests in Rome by Octopus Odyssey


Exhibition, makers market & activities // 12 noon – 6pm // Sat 9th featuring:

  • Paint Your own Domino by the Domino Project

Calling creative Bristol!

From February 2020 PRSC is running a regular arts fair (featuring an exhibition, market, activities, performance etc) opening on the second Friday of every month.

The market is intended to support local makers, start-ups and independent businesses. Priority will be given to applications from refugees, asylum seekers, the homeless and others at risk of exclusion.

We are on the hunt for artists, performers, musicians, workshop leaders and creatives who want to be involved in this event, or future events. Please email email hidden; JavaScript is required for more info.

The School of Activism 2.0 is a 2 week programme of workshops, talks and activities brought to you by Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft over the Easter holidays. The workshops are intended to be empowering experiences equipping people with the tools to challenge the status quo, contest power structures and ultimately to change the world.
