SUMMARY:Tales From The Wasteland: Post-Apocalyptic Improv
DESCRIPTION:Tickets\nTales From The Wasteland is an improvised post-apocalyptic adventure comedy. This twisted and talented cast of wastelanders will take a single suggestion from you and craft an entire narrative show with no pre-prepared characters\, story or dialogue. \nIf the world was ending\, what would be the one thing you’d want to survive? Join us as we explore a new world and find out what’s left over after Earth’s devastation. Expect raiders\, mutants and violence over scarce resources in this absurd dark comedy inspired by classics of the genre such as Mad Max\, The Last of Us and Fallout. \nWarning: this show tends to have dark themes\, violence and cannibalism. Seriously\, cannibalism comes up way too often. \n“I’m still reeling at how such an intricate tale was woven on the spot\, it’s truly a gift this cast has been blessed with.” – Obscure Reviews \nWITH SUPPORT FROM: Pressure Cooker \nthe improvised restaurant show (from the cast of The Bish Bosh Bash and the creators of Tales of Adventure) \nStep into our restaurant\, where the experience is different every night! Our performers take ingredients from the audience’s suggestions to create recipes for funny\, silly\, and relatable stories. \nYou’ll see how the front-of-house\, back-of-house\, and customers deal with wildly unpredictable situations and character tales\, serving up all-you-can-eat laughs. \nAs our Head Chef always says… “You can’t make an omelette without cracking a few laughs”. \n\nPeople's Art Fair: Friday 2 May - Sunday 11 May 2025\nThe People's Art Fair encompasses a group exhibition\, performances\, creative workshops & activities\, and a makers market! Watch the adventures in space as Star Captain fearlessly faces new planets\, strange aliens and black holes. Their faithful Number Two isn’t far behind\, nervously joining as they tame wild alien creatures and broker peace between the giant cyborgs and mantis-people (or whatever we come up with on the night). \nThe Grumpkins (Emma T and Pete) are proud to present this fast paced comedic improvised Sci-fi Adventure. From a single suggestion\, the Star Captain and their put-upon assistant Number Two will weave a brand new heroic space adventure before your very eyes. \nTo infinity and beyond!
