We want to celebrate these connections and support a visit to Niger and Burkina Faso in March to continue developing these relationships. Our comrades in the Sahel are leading the way towards self-determination and Planet Repairs. \nThis year more than 4 billion people around the world will be eligible to vote. DESCRIPTION:After a year of hard work\, planning\, building and sorting\, the PRSC is delighted to invite you to come and party with us in our beautifully refurbished yard. On Thursday 11 August our Yard gates will be propped firmly open from 6-9pm and the bar will be open too. \nIn case the opportunity to relax and drink some fine local beers in this unique creative space is not enough to tempt you down (did you know this is where artist Jamie Gillman built the iconic Ursa Bear sculpture?)\, we have laid on some extra entertainment as well… \nPAINT WITH US! The sun is shining and the PRSC paint jam is back. With the creation of a single big piece that everyone is invited to add to\, the PRSC paint jam offers an expressive\, collaborative experience for the whole family\, resulting in a single\, unique piece created by the combined independent efforts of everyone who takes part. Paints\, brushes\, boiler suits and gloves are provided. \nDANCE WITH US! The multi-talented electronic duo Brainbeau are coming to share their sounds and get your hips moving. Their style is described as “Fusing old school hip-hop production techniques\, a diverse range of instruments and field recordings through a live band approach with post-punk influences”… come experience the sounds of Brainbeau for yourselves. \nSHOP WITH US! In case you’re running low on radical tableware\, our famous china shop will be open late for the Stokes Croft Night Shopping Indie Trail\, offering special deals & discounts alongside several other independent shops in the neighbourhood. \nFree entry.
