With the economy tanking, the pound plummeting to an all-time low and a fresh round of austerity coming down the tracks many of us are asking “what the hell is going on with the economy?”

To help guide us through the confusion we’ll be joined by two speakers from Reteaching Economics:
• Jo Michell, an Associate Professor of Economics at UWE Bristol. His current research interests include macroeconomics, money and banking, income distribution and Brexit.
• Daniela Gabor, a Professor of Economics and Macro-Finance whose expertise are critical central banking, collateral intermediation, shadow banking, IMF, capital controls, and transnational banking.
