Jose was born in Santo Domingo\, Puerto Plata\, north of Santo Domingo – capital of the Dominican Republic. Jose is also a qualified entertainment supervisor having worked for the prestigious Occidental chain of hotels and resorts in Grand Flamenco (including roles as the conductor and MC for the Occidental Grand Flamenco Fun Club in Puerto Plata). Although Jose hails from the Dominican Republic he now resides in the UK and has focused on teaching Dominican-style dance – Bachata Domincana.
