Mystery still surrounds the disappearance of Jamie Gillman’s flowers… The most likely suspect is still one of the departments of Bristol City Council, though thus far, nobody is owning up to it… If you have any inside information, please contact us
Below: The Last remaining flower, missed by the Crazy Flower Thieves
If you have an agenda to push or you are trying to be amusing one would think so.
Otherwise, it’s not that surprising is it?
I found some of them on Sunday afternoon on display in a council depot. Pass my email address to Jamie and I’ll happily give him the details.
Hi Typowriter, you say that you “found some of them on Sunday afternoon on display in a council depot”
Please can you let me know which depot, as I have had assurance from Highways and Street Scene that it was not them. I want to get to the bottom of it. Feel free to post here or email me at jon dot rogers at bristol dot gov dot uk
i saw 2 young lads walking up stokes croft with the flowers, in broad daylight walking past the croft towards Gloucester road. They were students and in no way shape or form employees from the city council. Oh no, the big conspiracy theory that points the finger of blame at the council is no longer valid here…what will the prsc junkies do now? how can they blame the student when they represent the people….
(there is a hint of sarcasm there in case you missed it).
The flowers were stolen by these 2 lads, who were no more than 20 yrs old…
Hi Jon,
I’ve emailed you the details.
I find it interesting that no-one is prepared to say it was them yet they were very prominently on display on Sunday. Whoever put them there obviously likes them or else they wouldn’t be in such an obvious place. The other option of course is they they are there as some kind of trophy.
Either way, not informing you after you specifically requested their location is very odd indeed.
Best regards,
J
