Donations for local rough sleepers

As part of our support for the local community, we offer a tent and blanket exchange for local rough sleepers, so we are always in need of more supplies.

Do you have an unused tent or clean sleeping bag you could donate to help someone get through the night? We also accept good waterproof coats.

If you have a tent which is missing pegs, please label it as such and bring it in anyway, we have spares.

If you would like to support the blanket exchange but have no tents or sleeping bags to donate, we also distribute toiletries – toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary products, razors, dry shampoo etc, so we are always happy to receive more of these useful items.

Donations can be left at Stokes Croft China, 35 Jamaica St, BS2 8JP, between 11am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday, or at PRSC Space on Tuesday afternoons from 2-4pm.

Five years after launch, our Street Survival sessions evolved into the Peoples Art Club & Community Drop In, free creative sessions held in the PRSC Space on Tuesday afternoons from 2-4pm – come make some art, have a cup of tea & a chat, pick up or drop off tents & sleeping bags, or just sit quietly!

You’re all loving People’s Art Club so much that we’re getting low on art supplies! If you have any reasonable quality / still functional paints, pens, paper, etc, please drop them in to us (or bring them when you join a session).

We have limited storage space so cannot accept donations of clothing, blankets, duvets etc. You could try Aid Box Community’s Free Shop instead!

The work PRSC does is almost entirely self-funded, through sales from Stokes Croft China and hiring out our venue & other creative spaces, so please donate if you can.
