We have been asked to pass on the “Phone Tree” number 07794894353 by the people squatting in the Former Jesters building. If you wish to be informed by text when the bailiffs come to attempt to eject the squatters, whether it be to show support, or simply to witness events, please text your number to the number above in order to receive notification.

LOVE IT!!!…OH MY GOD, STOP IT….YOU STINKING ALTERNATIVE,HIPPY
FUCKWITS….
Funny how the people who support Tesco won’t give their names.
Also, I don’t support Tesco. Does this make me a ‘stinking alternative hippie fuckwit’?
Fuckwit I may be, but I do wash, don’t have dreadlocks, and am unsure if I qualify for ‘alternative’.
Oh yes, I pay taxes too, Mr/Mrs Tax Payer. Probably a higher proportion of my income than those notorious off-shore tax-dodging grocers whose name slips my mind…
Hello everyone –
i’ve watched this tesco debate with interest as many others over the years – I have no problem with Tesco, or any other retailer wanting to do their own thing. I’d like to be more idealistic with my views and say i only ever shop in locally sourced, independently owned stores, but I don’t so I’m not going to be a hypocrite.
If people don’t like Tesco, they shouldn’t shop there and then they wouldnt build any more stores, but loads of people do shop there and like the convenience. I’ve lived in the Stokes Croft area for 40 odd years on and off and it certainly needs a shot in the arm – thats not going to come purely from local shops smartening themselves up, As with further up gloucester road it seems to me theres space for a bit of everything – nice and local and also some corporate convenience, its the variety that makes the world go round. I remember people saying Bedminster would die when Asda came along years ago and it doesnt seem to have happened. Anyway thanks to the protestors for making the daily journey to work a bit more entertaining over the last few weeks. Rob
One thing that cracked me up is , one day I was walking past the old Jesters (inhabited with squatters at this time). They had left their recyclable rubbish outside in Tesco bags!!!!!!!!!!! Pot calling the kettle black eh hem! lol
I hate Tesco’s as much as the next man, but I also use it as much as the next man.
