Tickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested minimum donation of £3.00 in order to help cover venue costs. There are some limited free tickets as well for people who will struggle to contribute this.

Corbyn & Sultana’s announcement of a new political party has shaken British politics, but everything about the party is up in the air. How will it be organised? Who will lead it? Will it be a purely parliamentary party, or can we aim for something more?

In this event we’ll discuss one proposal for how to build a radically democratic party, led by its members – Max Shanly’s article “Towards a New Model Left Party”

We encourage everyone to read the article, or at least the closing section where he lays out his concrete proposals.

Event format: After a short introduction, we will discuss the article in small groups, with time to feed back to the whole room afterwards.
