Heavy overnight snowfall meant that the funeral of Alan Smith did not take place today. Confusion reigned, as conflicting messages were received from the minister, the hostel and the Crematorium. Alan will receive a Public Contract funeral. These take place at 9am or 9.30, and often at short notice. We are assured that we will be given notice of the rescheduled date, and will publish this information as soon as possible. Further information can be obtained from R.
