Children’s Half Term: Arts and Crafts Workshop

Bristol Solidarity Cafe x PRSC: free arts and crafts workshop for kids aged 8-13
Bristol Solidarity Cafe are hosting their first free children’s session this upcoming half-term on Saturday 15th February from 1 to 3pm, in collaboration with Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft at PRSC.
As the 21st February marks International Mother Language Day AND the publication of the Communist Manifesto, we wanted to invite children to create some art around the themes of mother language and community. There will be tote bag painting, poster making, collaborative art, co-creation and more!
We will also be providing gluten free, nut free, vegan food and refreshments.
Also please note, we will have a couple of volunteers who have an enhanced DBS check and others who have previously worked with children.

In 2024 our weekly People's Art Club sessions were funded by The National Lottery's Community Fund. For six months of 2025 these sessions were funded by the Quartet Community Foundation. Additional People's Art Club activities were supported by Bristol City Council's Originators Fund.
Please consider donating to help us keep the People's Art Club open! And if you know of any suitable funding we should be applying for, please tell us about it.
