Introducing Shumei Natural Agriculture: ecologically friendly & sustainable practices

Shinya Imahashi of Shumei UK will introduce the principles and practice of the Japanese system of Shumei Natural Agriculture, which emphasises respect for nature, seed saving, continuous cropping rather than crop rotation, and building soil fertility rather than using fertilisers or manures.
We will also be holding our annual Seed Swap on the night, so do bring any saved & surplus seeds to swap.
Doors will open at 6.45pm for a 7pm start.
