London Recruits: Film Screening & Discussion

The movement against Apartheid was one of the largest international social movements in the late 20th century. This documentary tells the story about a group of young white British workers and students who were recruited to work undercover within South Africa by comrade Tambo.

The film will be followed by a discussion with the director, one of the surviving Recruits, and local activists involved with internationalist solidarity work today.

A collaboration between the Peoples Release of the film which has as its aim to to create a new model for getting inspiring stories from the left to a wider audience, and the Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft’s School of Activism.
