Join us for a night of spontaneous laughter at The Improv Spotlight. Immerse yourself in the world of unscripted comedy as two talented groups from our vibrant community take centre stage. These groups will weave unique stories, characters, and humour on the spot for your entertainment. The Spotlight highlights the spontaneous comedy of improvised theatre and proudly showcases the diverse skills of local troupes and artists within our community.

This month under the Spotlight we have Last Day On Earth and RedPython.

The first graduate house team of legendary improv night Parent’s Basement take a location from the audience and proceed to take us on a journey through improvised sketch and character comedy.

Featuring performers from: This Is Your Musical, Up The Antics & After Dusk: The Improvised Twilight Zone, Last Day on Earth have travelled all over the country with their chaotic, hilarious comedic style and consistently deliver premium laughter.

A comical, completely improvised romp through the annals of history inspired by Blackadder. Follow our dashing, daring and (occasionally) dim-witted protagonist Redpython as they muddle their way through some of the silliest situations in history.
