Dutch Auction at PRSC HQ to run until July 23rd, 2010.
This innovative rolling exhibition is designed to provide an outlet for aspiring artists to show and sell their work, and to offer to the Public the opportunity to purchase an artwork at a genuinely affordable price.
HOW IT WORKS: Anybody may submit a piece of work to be shown in the PRSC HQ Gallery. The work will be displayed for two weeks. The Artist will decide the price that he or she would like to receive for the work, and the price that he or she would be willing to accept. The sale price will descend daily from the first to the second price in equal steps. Prospective bidders may place a bid according to their desire or means: the higher the bid, the greater the chance of success…
Proceeds are split 50:50 between Artist and Gallery.
Gallery proceeds go towards funding the endeavours of PRSC.
