Murals for Green Fringe

We started the year by painting the Bearpit Cube with message inspired by Naomi Klein’s inspirational book, “This Changes Everything”. We followed it up in February with a tour de force by 3_Dom, which was painted on the PRSC Outdoor Gallery wall.In April, Voyder painted Icarus falling from the skies, seemingly obsessed with his  mobile phone. In June, we scrubbed, swept and then we painted the Gatton Road fence, which runs a full 90 metres alongside the M32, where the words “Keep the oil in the Soil” seem most appropriate. Find out more…

There's always something afoot in Stokes Croft. New murals, art installations, a guerrilla digging up of Turbo Island.

Our venue, The Space is a hive of activity, with an array of small and alternative events taking place.

Stokes Croft China designs and produces the finest radical china money can buy, supporting PRSC's work.

And then there's updates about the Bearpit project, community ownership of land, banner making workshops, and so on.

Support our work

We run small art and community projects in Stokes Croft and around Bristol, often for free. We collaborate with other art and community groups, who benefit from our facilities and resources. We're entirely self funded, and sometimes that's hard.

If you like what we do, please consider donating. PRSC is at the forefront of defending public spaces, cultural freedoms, and an alternative voice from the city.

With your help, we can develop our workspaces, activities, projects and campaigns.

Yes, I support an alternative voice for the city.
