Black Community Rising presents a day of radical educational classes for young people in Bristol and Norwich, (as well as an online Zoom class for adults 18+).

A day of unconventional learning to inspire and empower young people, encourage conversations and provide some food for thought as to what the British Empire really means. Teaching an honest decolonised version of British history through discussion, music, theatre, art, poetry and video. We welcome young people from all backgrounds to join us in experiencing a dynamic classroom, and to be part of community empowered change, starting at the source.

Free PPE, food and drinks will be provided. Social distancing will be maintained. We encourage parents to join their children on this revolutionary journey and help us in opening a different kind of conversation about race and black British history.
