No movement for social justice ever won without the actions of masses of people; if we are to become a movement for social justice, then we need to cascade ideas on to others.
This day, the 19th of September, would have been the 101st birthday of Paulo Freire, the revolutionary brazilian educator who formulated a lot of the theory which todays activist education is based on.
The aim of this session is to build participants’ confidence in delivering training materials, and share their appreciation of the theory of learning to new people.
Everyone is welcome, entry is pay-what-you-can – donations for the venue would be appreciated, but no-one will be turned away through lack of funds.
