Looking back on an unprecedented year…
With the cold nights drawing in, for those of us not out grouse shooting or visiting Barnard castle The People’s Art Fair is back to bring a little colour and magic back in our lives! Show will run in real life at the PRSC, online or both, lockdown depending.
On the 12th June a graffiti artist was detained by police in St Werburghs for painting in the Mina Road Tunnel. Anyone who knows the area would probably be surprised to hear this- the tunnel has been one of the few tolerated (if not officially sanctioned) painting spots in the city for more than a decade.
A look at tagging, graffiti and decoding the streets…
The People’s Art Fair is back! Head on down to The Space at PRSC to sample art of all flavours from a wide range of local artists.
Open call for artists, performers, musicians, workshop leaders and creatives who want to be involved in our monthly arts fair, featuring an exhibition, market, activities, performance etc. See The People’s Art Fair for details of how to get involved. Part of the School of Activism 2.0 curriculum.
